How We Choose Products
How Resevaria approaches materials, fit, care, retailer information and transparent product selection.
We begin with a reader need, then compare materials, construction details, usefulness, fit information and care requirements. A research-led guide is labelled by what we know; it is not presented as hands-on testing. Before using a shopping link, confirm the exact product, regional price and returns with the seller.

What makes a piece worth considering?
We begin with its job. A work bag needs usable capacity and a comfortable carry; an evening bag may earn its place through proportion and finish. Comparing them on the same checklist would miss the point.
Read the details
Look for dimensions, material composition, lining, closure, care instructions and repair information. A beautiful campaign image cannot establish how a fastening feels or how a garment moves. Where those details are unavailable, leave the question open.
Separate research from testing
A buying framework explains what to check. A hands-on review needs an identified item, a method and observations from using it. Our published selection guides should be read as editorial frameworks unless an article explicitly describes its testing.
Account for ownership
Consider alterations, cleaning, consumables and repairs alongside the purchase price. For cross-border orders, check the seller’s delivery and returns terms before paying.
Start with the work-bag checklist, fabric and finish or international shopping. Read our commercial-link disclosure for how links are labelled.
